Puissant 02:15
Listen, you’re sick. Pale coming on thick. How do you feel? Touchy touchy grabby grabby. You're so damn weak. All good things come to those who take. Money money-grubbing grubbing. Besides, you need it. And after all, the pure of heart are a goddamned miracle. You won’t live forever. So earn it now. Dig it out. Fall upon it. Don’t show emotion. We know that’s taboo. Don’t worry. Put up those walls. Defensiveness is a must. You can’t help yourself. So, fuck the world. Rape the women, rape the children, rape the land and everything you can control. But here’s what you should do: You earned it. So dig that grave. Now, fall into it.

Kola 02:50
Hello, you’ve been awaiting our call. ((The predecessors have awakened)) Who we are is not important, it’s the message we have that you need. ((Your excavation uncovered ring infernal)) Now, calm down. Take a deep breath. ((There’s a door within our throats)) We’re here to help. We want the best for you. ((Its ancient contents spilling out)) Listen to our voice. ((All the nightmares you’ve been having...)) Focus on our words. ((...are coming from us)) We want to make you aware that there’s nothing you can do. There’s nothing you can do. We have him here with us and we want to keep him safe, but we can’t promise anything unless you do exactly as we say. The authorities can do nothing. It doesn’t matter who you know. So don’t make any other calls. Give us what we want. Give us what we want. If you want to ever see him again, do exactly as we say. We will cut ties and leave you hung up. Your world strung upside down. You can’t make any demands We’re calling the shots. We can end it all. Give us what we want. If you want to ever see him again, do exactly as we say. What did we tell you? You didn’t listen, so the deal’s off. You’ll never find him. It’s too late. And you’ll never hear from us again. Hang up now.

Courtship 03:58
Our eyes locked in. "Hey, how’s it going? What do you do? Wow. Well, it’s been nice chatting." But what’s that? I sense a presence. Ignites something within us. Can I see you again? We’re finally alone. Drink each other in. All else fades. There’s only us. But what’s that? I sense a presence. There’s someone else in this room. Who did you bring with you? Drugged. Dragged. Harvested.

about

At a time when many social and political issues are reaching a breaking point, as systems are ready to collapse down upon the most marginalized, Touching God continue to take a satirical stance on many of them, using the horror genre as a comparison to the horrorshow at hand. The resulting aberration has melded the themes into a twisted chaotic scrapheap of blistering electronic drums, shrill guitar feedback, and desperate shrieks. On the two-piece band’s second EP release, Profane, they reach deep into sources of evil, drawing inspiration from any and all dark corners of extreme music. This new collection of songs and soundscapes is once again informed by the sounds of Uniform, HEALTH, Daughters, Future of the Left, Current Value, Prurient and various others, with mastering by Brad Boatright (The Armed, Greber, Frontierer, etc.) at Audiosiege.

...And An Earth (ANRTH-07)

___________
"...spits in the face of conventional music of the heavy variety or otherwise. With devastating discord and electronic drums, Touching God... berates the senses and punishes all for their sins."
( Jeshaiah David, cupsncakespod.com )

"It’s a heavyweight brutal seventeen minutes or so, of that there’s no denying. But listen closely. There is structure. And there is melody. Maybe just not of the Judy garland style, that’s all... Set the mood to ‘creepy.’ "
( Colin Jackson, loudhorizon.com )

"...sounds like what cramming your theremin rod into an electrical socket feels like. Powered by the inhuman stamina of a vengeful drum machine, these dual vocalist-guitarists are left free to explore their fretboards and the distance between a howl and a moan in a overtly punishing and sneakily melodic fashion."
( sledisland.com )

"Touching God's set sounded what I assume hell sounds like."
( @popfoodrecordclub )

Touching God

7. The Lord’s anger burned against Uzzah because of his irreverent act; therefore God struck him down, and he died there beside the ark of God.
